The name "RIITAJ" in Arabic means Portal, which is the concept behind this device. Ideally, the device is part of an ecosystem, which is I think what the future devices will be part of. The device is comprised of the body, and is built around 8 flexible and semitransparent touchscreens, which could be used both ways. Additionally, the screens become solid and hold their positions offering a solid real-estate screen and it also allows the device to use the hovering mechanism thanks to the motor moving the screens.
The top and bottom of the device include a camera and projector, which offers a level of interactivity that should be fun for games and social media. While hovering, the device could photograph or project items per user's choice.
The oval shape ring is a flexible rubber ring that could be removed for different finger sizes. It serves the purpose to hold the device in the same manner as a person holding an apple. Also, it allows people to hang the device.
In focus mode, the screens offer a layering effect that adds depth to content displayed. In enjoy mode, the screens bend over the top camera/ projector to allow for a seamless viewing experience.
Initially, the concept started from the "Wagasa" (Japanese Umbrella) but then evolved into this device.
